Jewellery stock management software that values the safe two ways

Know what is in the safe, and what it is worth — both at what you paid for it and at today's gold rate. Low stock is flagged, purchase orders go to suppliers from the same screen, and every adjustment is recorded.

Jewellery stock has two values, and shops usually track neither

A steel trader's inventory is worth what it cost. Jewellery is not: the same necklace is worth one figure in your books and a different figure at this morning's gold rate, and the gap between them moves every day.

The stock dashboard shows both. Total SKUs and pieces on hand, stock value at purchase price, and live gold value at today's rate with the rate it used printed underneath — so you can see the difference rather than guess at it.

Alongside that sit the two operational numbers: how many items have dropped to low stock and need reordering, and how many purchase orders are still open with suppliers.

What the module does

SKU catalogue
Every design in the safe as an item with its own record — how many pieces, what they weigh, what purity.
Valued at cost
Total stock value at purchase price, so the books have a figure that does not move with the market.
Valued at today's rate
The same stock priced at the day's gold rate, with the rate it used shown — the number that matters when you are deciding what to buy.
Low stock flags
Items that have fallen below their reorder level are counted and called out, before a customer asks for something you no longer have.
Purchase orders
Raise a PO against a supplier, and see how many are still pending from the dashboard.
Stock adjustments
When physical count and system count disagree, the correction is a recorded adjustment rather than a silent edit.

On the stock dashboard

Running stock

1
Get the catalogue in
Add each design as an item with its weight, purity and quantity. This is the one-off effort; everything after it is maintenance.
2
Set reorder levels
Tell the app what 'low' means for each item, so the low-stock count is meaningful for your shop rather than generic.
3
Raise POs against suppliers
When something runs low, the purchase order goes out against a supplier record and stays visible as pending until it lands.
4
Watch both values
Cost value for the books, live gold value for buying decisions. When the rate moves sharply, you can see immediately what it did to the safe.
5
Adjust honestly
Physical count differs? Record it as an adjustment so the history explains the change.

Two numbers, one safe

What the dashboard shows

The catalogue count and pieces on hand across the top, then stock value at purchase price next to live gold value at today's rate, with the rate per gram printed under it. Beside them, the count of items that have gone low and the count of purchase orders still open. That is the whole buying decision on one screen.

Cost and market, side by side

Frequently asked questions

Does it value stock at the current gold rate?

Yes — the dashboard shows stock value at purchase price and live gold value at today's rate side by side, with the rate per gram it used shown underneath so the figure is auditable.

Will it tell me what to reorder?

Items that fall below their reorder level are counted and flagged as low stock on the dashboard, and you can raise a purchase order against a supplier from there.

Can I track suppliers and purchase orders?

Yes. Suppliers are held as records and purchase orders are raised against them, with pending orders counted on the dashboard until they arrive.

What happens when the physical count does not match?

You record a stock adjustment. The correction is kept as an event with a reason rather than the number being quietly overwritten.

How does stock relate to karigar jobs?

A job order with no customer attached is a stock job — jewellery being made for your own inventory. That is how new pieces come from a karigar into the catalogue.

Where is my shop's data stored?

In India. Our servers are in a Mumbai data centre. Your customer records, loan book and bills stay yours — we never share them with third parties, and you can export everything to Excel whenever you want.

What if I want to stop using it?

Send one WhatsApp message. We export your full data to Excel, hand it over, and that is that. No contract, no lock-in, no retention phone calls. The no-card-required promise applies on the way out too.
