Jewellery shop software built for how Indian shops actually run
Varadhi Gold runs the counter and the back office of a jewellery shop — gold and silver billing with GST, the pawn loan book, old gold exchange, karigar job work, stock, savings schemes and the police register. One app, on your phone and on the shop computer.
Most jewellery software is a billing package with gold bolted on
A jewellery shop is not a retail counter with different stock. In one afternoon the same shop sells a chain against a GST invoice, takes a customer's old bangles in part-exchange, issues a pawn loan against someone's earrings, hands 40 grams to a karigar for a new order, and collects a scheme instalment. Software written for general retail has nowhere to put four of those five.
Varadhi Gold was built the other way round — starting from the day-book of a working shop. Every module below exists because a shop owner was already tracking that thing in a notebook and wanted it to stop being a notebook.
It is multi-tenant, so your shop's data is your shop's alone, and it runs on the counter computer and on a phone at the same time. Shops with more than one branch run all of them from one login.

The six things a shop touches every single day
What else is in there
- Customers with auto-numbered codes, ID proof and KYC documents, searchable by name or mobile.
- Silver sales as a first-class module, not gold with the labels changed — coins, bullion and ornaments.
- Repairs and servicing — cleaning, resizing, polishing, stone setting — tracked from intake to collection.
- Bookings and advances so the money a customer paid against a piece that is not ready yet is never in dispute.
- Daily cash register with opening balance, the day's receipts and payments, closing balance and the variance.
- Auctions and recovery for loans that go past the line, including the pre-auction notice letter.
- Stolen-gold alerts you can check an incoming item against before you take it in.
- Expenses, attendance, branches, staff roles and reports, with Excel export on any date range.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of shops is Varadhi Gold for?
Jewellery retailers, pawnbrokers, and the very common Indian shop that is both — selling ornaments at the front and running a loan book at the back. It handles gold and silver, and it is built around Indian practice: karat purity, making charges, wastage, GST, karigar job work and the pawnbroker register.
Do I have to take all the modules?
No. Modules are switched on per shop. A pure retail jeweller need never see the pawn loan screens, and a pawnbroker who does not sell ornaments need never see billing.
Where is my shop's data stored?
In India. Our servers are in a Mumbai data centre. Your customer records, loan book and bills stay yours — we never share them with third parties, and you can export everything to Excel whenever you want.
Does it work on a phone, or do I need a computer?
Both. There is a desktop admin for the back office and a phone app for the counter and for the owner who wants to check the shop from home. The phone app is available in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. If a cashier is part-way through entering a loan and gets interrupted, the entry is saved as a draft on the device and can be picked up again.
Can my staff use it without seeing everything?
Yes. Each staff member gets their own login, and every entry is tagged with who made it. You as the owner see the whole shop; staff see only what you allow. That works the same for a single counter and for branches in different towns.
Is it GST-compliant?
Yes. Tax invoices carry your GSTIN, an HSN code per item and the CGST/SGST breakdown, and the GST module exports the HSN-wise summary you need at return time as a CSV — taxable value, CGST, SGST, IGST and total tax per HSN.
What if I want to stop using it?
Send one WhatsApp message. We export your full data to Excel, hand it over, and that is that. No contract, no lock-in, no retention phone calls. The no-card-required promise applies on the way out too.
